Acousti-Coat Technical Data
Acousti-coats Acoustic Dampening is achieved by disrupting or reflecting a sound waves path through walls and ceilings.
Normally sound waves radiate in all directions from their point of origin. It is the rate of vibration that allows us to perceive these sound wave. Where normally these vibration are able to penetrate solid surfaces such as stone or glass, Acousti-Coat creates a rubberized layer which diffuses the vibrations, dampening the and reflecting sounds transferable properties.
The application consists of 4 layers, 2 Base Coats, 1 Top Coat and whatever finishing coat you wish to apply over it.
